Our beloved sister, Cynthia Blair, went home to be with the Lord this past weekend. She was retired from the Maryville School System after 32 years service. Preceded in death by her husband James Arthur Blair. She was a faithful member of St. Paul AME Zion Church. Survivors include children, Brian Love, Gregory Love, Cameron (Vivian) Love and Lori (George) Parker; sister Norma Rorex ; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nephews Barry and Brett Rorex; step daughters, Carol (Roy) Meritt, and Patricia Blair; father-in-law Robert Blair; God child Ranetta Ogle and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held Thursday January 20, 2011 at 1:00PM at St. Paul AME Zion Church Maryville with Rev. Willa Estell ,officiating. Entombment to follow at Sherwood Gardens, Alcoa. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. The body may be viewed after noon Wednesday at Foothills Funeral Home.
