“Heart to Heart”
Women’s prayer group meets the 2nd Saturday of feach month at 12:00P.M., here at the church. We hope you will join us!
We are asking that you join us in a 21 day time of fasting and prayer as we begin on January 1st, 2019 and end on January 24th. (Sunday’s are not included), from 6:00 P.M. to 12:00 P.M. each day. Our theme for this season is “Retooling our People: Walking in our Identity in Christ.” We will utilize the book of Ephesians in Preaching and teaching.
Noonday Bible Study
Will resume on Wednesday, January 9th. and Discipleship class will resume on Thursday, January 10th.
The Lay Council
Will meet after the morning worship service next Sunday!

God has blessed us to receive $2,000 toward the expense of a “Lift Chair,” leaving a balance of approximately $2,500. We are asking each member to give a sacrificial gift of $50 toward the purchase of the chair. If you are willing and able please do so by January 31st.
Alcoa Blount County NAACP 1st Annual Freedom Fund Gala
Will be held on February 28th, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at the Airport Hilton. Tickets are now available and are $50/each or $500/table. We would like for St. Paul to purchase two tables. Please purchase tickets from Connie.

Maryville District Spiritual Emphasis Week Celebration

On Saturday, February 10th at 4:00 PM, the NAACP and St. Paul will celebrate Living African American Legends (Hidden Figures) Past and Present as part of Black History Month. We will portray those Legends who have or are making a difference in our world.
February 8th at 4:45 PM: BCU, Blount County, Maryville City, and Alcoa City governments will sign an agreement to prevent and eradicate bias, prejudice, and hate. This event will take place at the Blount County Library, and is sponsored by the BCU Civic Committee.
